Haig Street, Ashgrove, QLD
This was a very old Queenslander in Brisbane that needed bringing back to life. The house was quite high at the back, as it is on a sloping block.
Firstly, we had people come in and remove the old stucco lining over the asbestos on the external of the house.
We then raised the house, and dug out underneath to prepare for the new concrete slab.
On the lower level, our Builders installed a new kitchen, bathroom, study, laundry, cellar, lounge and dining rooms. We also built a deck leading out to the new pool, which was under construction throughout our works.
Everything on the upper level of this house was restored or renovated to the client’s exact detail. We removed the floor boards from the front deck and replaced them with larger boards, with a wider gap. The bathrooms and ensuites were refurbished with travertine tiles. The internal doors are solid timber doors, and the floors were polished throughout the entire house. All existing doors and windows were removed by our Builders and replaced, or restored. We repainted the entire house, internally and externally. The client had since had landscaping completed, and this has set the house off beautifully. This house was another example of us working hand and hand with a client who knew exactly what she wanted.
All I can do say is WOW
