This job was always going to be something different and exciting for us. We worked very closely with the client to ensure that all of his ideas had been realized by the end of the project. The client designed the entire house, and helped by providing hand drawn sketches throughout the project, which helped us to achieve the look he was going for.
We raised the house and built in underneath. The lower level now has 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, and a bathroom with a spa, as well as a double lockup garage.
We built retaining walls all around the back of the house, being extra careful regarding the existing pool (in the back yard) to ensure that any issues regarding water leaks or damage in the future were taken into account.
We constructed the carport to the left hand side of the house, and don’t the automatic timber gates look great! Please have a look at the detail to the back verandah, it is stunning. I am very proud our brisbane builders.
